Virginia Education Law

If you are having problems with a public or private school, or university, a Virginia education lawyer may be required in order to resolve your issue. Education law covers a wide range of laws and regulations that govern our educational systems. By hiring an experienced education lawyer, you can increase your chances of reaching a positive outcome.

If you are the parent of a student who is not receiving the appropriate educational instruction, an education lawyer may be able to assist you. Whether your child is attending a college or university that is unresponsive to his needs, or your child is not making sufficient progress in a public or private school, legal actions may be necessary. An attorney can also assist you with special education law in order to ensure your child receives the personalized attention he needs.

Unfortunately, bullying happens all too often in our nation’s schools. If your child’s civil rights have been violated, or if he has a personal injury claim, an education lawyer can file a lawsuit in order to obtain justice for you and your child.

Teachers can also use the assistance of a skilled education lawyer if a lawsuit is filed against them. An experienced education lawyer understands education issues that a general practitioner may miss. In cases involving tenure and promotions, an education lawyer can provide guidance so that you can take the proper steps in the resolution process.
